Electronic Weighing Packer

Working Principle

  1. Cement Supply: Finished cement from the storage silo is conveyed to the packing machine feed hopper via air slides or screw conveyors. A level sensor maintains a constant material level in the hopper.
  2. Bag Placement: Empty valve-type bags are manually placed (or automatically positioned by a bag placer) onto the filling spout. The bag valve creates a seal around the spout to prevent leakage.
  3. Filling Process: The filling impeller (rotary packer) or pneumatic system (fixed packer) fluidizes and injects cement into the bag at high speed. Filling rate is typically 3-5 seconds for a 50kg bag.
  4. Weight Measurement: Load cells continuously monitor bag weight during filling. When the target weight is reached (typically 50.00kg ± tolerance), a pneumatic cut-off gate instantly stops the material flow.
  5. Bag Discharge: The filled bag is automatically released from the spout and drops onto a belt conveyor. The spout valve closes to prevent material spillage between bags.
  6. Quality Check & Dispatch: Filled bags pass through a check weigher for verification. Underweight or overweight bags are automatically rejected. Accepted bags proceed to truck/wagon loading or palletizing/warehouse storage.
