Cement Bag Packaging
An automated packaging machine that wraps palletized cement bags with stretch film — securing the load, protecting against moisture, and ensuring stability during transport and storage. Adjustable turntable speed (0-12 rpm) with wrapping efficiency of 20-40 trays per hour.
Product Overview
The pallet wrapping machine — also known as a stretch wrapper or pallet stretch wrapper — is the final piece of equipment in the cement packaging line. After cement bags are filled, sealed, and stacked on pallets, the wrapping machine applies stretch film around the entire pallet load. This secures the bags in place, prevents shifting during forklift handling and truck transport, and creates a moisture barrier that protects the cement from humidity, rain, and condensation during storage and shipping.
Cement is highly hygroscopic — exposure to moisture causes premature hydration and clumping, degrading product quality. For cement shipped in 50kg bags on pallets, stretch film wrapping is essential. It keeps the bags tightly grouped, prevents individual bags from tearing or falling off the pallet, and maintains the integrity of the cement during long-distance transport, outdoor storage at construction sites, and export shipping in containers.
LIMING pallet wrapping machines feature a turntable design with stepless speed adjustment (0-12 rpm), a motorized film carriage with adjustable tension and overlap, and a PLC control system for programmable wrapping cycles. Operators can set the number of reinforcement wraps at the top and bottom of the pallet, film tension, and turntable speed — optimizing wrap quality and film consumption for each pallet type and load height.
Key Benefits
Designed for secure load wrapping, moisture protection, and efficient automated operation.
Stretch film tightly binds cement bags to the pallet, preventing shifting, toppling, or bag loss during forklift handling, truck loading, and transport. Programmable top and bottom reinforcement wraps provide extra stability at high-stress points.
Multiple layers of LLDPE stretch film create a barrier against humidity, rain, and condensation. This is critical for cement — a hygroscopic material that degrades when exposed to moisture. Wrapped pallets can be stored outdoors temporarily without quality loss.
Turntable speed (0-12 rpm), film tension, wrap overlap, and the number of top/bottom reinforcement layers are all adjustable via PLC. Different wrapping programs can be saved for different pallet sizes and load heights — ensuring optimal wrapping for every product.
Pre-stretch film carriage stretches the film by up to 300% before application — dramatically reducing film consumption while maintaining load-holding force. Automated wrapping at 20-40 trays/hour replaces manual wrapping, saving labor and ensuring consistent wrap quality.

How It Works
The pallet wrapping machine uses a rotating turntable combined with a vertically moving film carriage to apply stretch film around a palletized load. The turntable spins the pallet while the film carriage travels up and down, wrapping the load in a helical pattern.
