A major regional cement producer partnered with LIMING Machinery to deliver a complete 5,000 TPD dry-process cement clinker production line on an EPC basis. The project site's coastal location on China's southeastern seaboard required special engineering considerations to ensure reliable operation in the region's humid subtropical climate.
LIMING Machinery provided the complete scope of services including engineering design, equipment manufacturing and supply, civil construction supervision, mechanical and electrical installation, commissioning, and operator training.
The production line features a Φ4.8×74m rotary kiln paired with a double-cyclone preheater and precalciner system, providing excellent heat transfer and high calcination rates before the material enters the kiln. Raw material grinding employs a Vertical Roller Mill (VRM) for its superior energy efficiency and drying capability — a critical advantage in Fujian's high-moisture environment.
Special design features for the coastal location include enhanced corrosion protection on structural steel, weatherproof enclosures for electrical and instrumentation equipment, and a raw material handling system designed to manage potentially sticky materials during the rainy season. The clinker is cooled in a modern grate cooler with efficient heat recovery to the kiln and preheater systems.
Fujian's humid subtropical climate, with average annual humidity exceeding 75% and significant monsoon rainfall, required customized engineering solutions. The VRM raw mill's integrated drying capability efficiently handles high-moisture raw materials.
