In response to growing infrastructure demand across Northeast China, a prominent cement group commissioned LIMING Machinery to design, supply, and construct a world-class 8,000 TPD cement clinker production line in Liaoning Province. The project was delivered on a full EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) basis, covering everything from geological surveys and civil engineering to equipment manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and operator training.
The production line was designed to utilize advanced dry-process technology with a single production string, maximizing economies of scale while maintaining stringent environmental compliance standards. The project was completed on schedule and within budget, with all performance guarantees met or exceeded during the commissioning phase.
The line employs a state-of-the-art dry-process configuration with a five-stage cyclone preheater and precalciner system feeding into a large-capacity Φ5.0×74m rotary kiln. Raw material preparation is handled by a vertical roller mill (VRM), delivering consistent and high-quality raw meal for the kiln feed system. Clinker cooling is achieved through an advanced grate cooler with optimized heat recovery, maximizing thermal efficiency throughout the process.
The entire production line is governed by a fully integrated Distributed Control System (DCS), enabling centralized monitoring and precise control of every production parameter. Real-time data acquisition, process optimization algorithms, and automated alarm management ensure stable operation at rated capacity with minimal operator intervention.
Since commissioning, the 8,000 TPD line has consistently achieved its rated clinker production capacity with excellent quality metrics. Specific heat consumption and power consumption are well below industry benchmarks, and the line's environmental emissions fully comply with the latest Chinese national standards. The DCS automation system has significantly reduced the plant's operational labor requirements while improving process stability and product consistency.
