How LIMING Machinery delivered a space-efficient, environmentally compliant crushing plant in Anhui.
An aggregate production company in Anhui Province required a new limestone crushing facility to serve the growing construction market in Eastern China. The project presented two primary challenges: the available site footprint was constrained, and the plant needed to meet increasingly stringent local environmental regulations governing dust emissions and noise levels.
LIMING Machinery was selected to design and supply a complete 500 TPH limestone crushing and screening system that maximized production capacity within the limited site area while incorporating best-in-class dust suppression and emission control technology.
The crushing circuit uses a jaw crusher for primary reduction, accepting limestone up to 700mm, followed by a hammer crusher for secondary crushing. Hammer crushers were selected for this application due to their high reduction ratio and ability to produce well-shaped aggregates in a single pass, eliminating the need for a tertiary crushing stage and saving valuable footprint space. Vibrating screens classify the crushed product into multiple commercial sizes.
The entire plant was laid out in a vertical compact configuration, stacking process equipment across multiple levels to minimize the horizontal footprint. This vertical arrangement also reduces conveyor lengths and simplifies material routing between process units.
A comprehensive environmental protection system was integrated into the plant design from the outset. All transfer points are fully enclosed, and the plant features a centralized baghouse dust collection system serving all dust-generating equipment. Water spray systems at the crusher feed and discharge points provide additional dust suppression. Noise enclosures on the crushers reduce ambient noise levels to meet residential proximity requirements. The result is a plant that operates in full compliance with all applicable environmental standards.
